Mission Statement:
To provide our customers with superior analytical, consultation, and operational services by harnessing Dayton's historically innovative spirit, catalyzing solutions to intelligence challenges; enhancing national security and community safety, through agile technology and adaptive business practices.
Business Philosophy:
The Dayton area has been the hub of technical innovation throughout the industrial age, seeing more than its share of invention and ingenuity. The economic downturn has created a significant pool of “highly-qualified professionals” willing and able to transition from commercial industry to the intelligence and/or service communities. These motivated professionals offer unique perspectives that can be applied directly to J2i’s goals and objectives. J2i will benefit from these fresh ideas and perspectives by employing these professionals in an agile/reactive corporate structure that applies innovative analysis and collaboration techniques. J2i operational philosophy allows our progressive analysts to operate free of long-held operation and maintenance paradigms.
Origins and Opportunity:
J2 Intelligence was conceived when highly experienced Dayton-area intelligence analysts were afforded the opportunity to interact with a pool of highly qualified, motivated, professionals from across Dayton’s commercial spectrum. These professionals brought unique perspectives to intelligence problems and frequently attacked challenges in entirely new ways. J2i’s leadership brings an energetic approach to analytical, consultation, and operational services, having served in innovative operations cells established to rapidly solve military challenges, such as those posed by improvised explosive devices and similar challenges in the Middle East. The members of J2i leadership were key in the creation of work centers and innovative processes that are helping to defeat these and similar threats and challenges.
A large force cannot necessarily overpower a smaller force. There are times when the few can do battle with the many and be victorious... An overpowering force may not be able to maintain its organization and speed because of problems with mobilization and communication... If the small force is adequately organized it can wreak havoc upon the slowness of the larger army. ~Sun Tzu
